PG Football Hosts Annual MLK Combine

The Fork Union PG football program hosted its annual MLK Combine this past Monday at the Estes Athletic Center.
The Blue Devils welcomed 15 student-athletes to campus who are interested in joining the program next season. The event started at 9 a.m. with a campus tour, followed by several workouts that lasted throughout the day.
The event was highlighted by the return of FUMA PG alum Marc Washington who is a football coach in Greenville, S.C.
"Our MLK combine started us on our journey of selecting the best prospects for our program. We are looking for players who will immerse themselves in the concepts of our school. The concepts of body, mind and spirit are supported by our value systems. Wrestling Hosts Dual Meet in the Thomas Gym in front of the Corps

The Fork Union wrestling team hosted dual matches against Armstrong High School and Grace Christian Academy on Wednesday in the Thomas Gym in front of the Corps of Cadets.
The Blue Devils faced Armstrong first, followed by Grace Christian Academy, and downed both teams convincingly.
The highlight of the night was eighth-grader Messiah Levy, who at the time had only been on campus for two-days. The newcomer defeated Grace Christian's Will Swain in the 106 weight class for his first-career win as a member of the Fork Union wrestling team with a dramatic takedown and pin.
The Blue Devils return to the mat Saturday, Jan. 21, when they travel to county-rival Fluvanna at 9 a.m.
