“Keywords” are the important words or phrases that can be used to search for books and articles. Some databases have a preferred vocabulary and may respond better to some words over others, so it is suggested to try out different words and phrases to improve search results.

You will find a lot of information on the company's own website. Company history, financials, executives, and annual reports are examples. Hint: Annual Reports are often listed under sections like Investor Information, Investor Relations, or About Us. For a balanced view of the company, be sure to look at some of the tools below as well.

Business Source Premier To find company information search by company name in the Company Profiles section near the top, or search in the general search box. You can also limit your results to things like SWOT Analyses using the Source Types limiter on the left of your general results.

Nexis Uni Search for company news coverage using the general search box or use the drop down Menu near the top left to look for the Company Dossier.

Value Line Investment Survey Offers investment research, data, expert analysis, and commentary about U.S. and foreign companies, various industries, and more. Value Line Help Guide

Reference Solutions Search for existing companies by name, keyword, SIC, or NAIC.

EDGAR Corporate financial information that is filed by law with the Securities and Exchange Commission
