Our Statement to Live by this week "I know how to help others when they are in trouble"

Well done to the cricket team for winning the Level 1 Cricket tournament and reaching Level 2 which is taking place Friday 11th May. Your sportsmanship and superb cricket skills were recognised and commented on by other schools. Well done!

Well done to our Year 3/4 tennis team for reaching the Level 2 tournament on Wednesday. You played superbly and were real ambassadors for St Mary's RC Primary. Well done!

Thank you to all the school community for making the Uganda book sale such a success. We had a fantastic response with a great number of books being donated. The sales generated £130 that will be sent out to Uganda to provide books for the library that the children can enjoy.

The Y6 children have worked so hard during their time at St Mary's. We are all proud of you and next week is your chance to shine and demonstrate the progress you have made. You are a fantastic group of young people that deserve to do well based on your attitude towards learning and your determination. You are all super stars! Don't forget the Y6 Breakfast Club Monday - Thursday from 8.30am where you will be provided with toast and juice!

Well done to Year 2 who have been working hard this week on their special work. You have displayed such tenacity and maturity. Well done to you all you are such superheroes!

Next Friday 18th May we have our Global Learning Day where all the children will participate in a number of activities involving both Art work and Global Learning. We will all be having a picnic lunch on the field (weather dependent) to celebrate the learning taking place across the school.
