Spread the Word: Inclusion

For the past ten years, Spread the Word to End the Word has started the conversation on respect. To continue our conversation on respect, we want to go boldly into the next ten years!

The campaign has been reimagined into "Spread the Word: Inclusion" and will aim to inspire respect and acceptance by advocating for inclusive words and actions so that we can end discrimination of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Now, you can take the pledge to spread inclusion!

The annual Spread the Word awareness day will be March 6, 2019.

While most activities are centered on or near that annual day in March, Special Olympics North Carolina will celebrate on March 20 at our statewide Respect Rally held in downtown Raleigh.

Special Olympics North Carolina welcomes everyone to join us as we celebrate inclusion and respect for students across North Carolina! For more information about the day’s event click here.
