Hogmanay a Scottish New Year's Eve Celebration

Hogmanay's origins come from their Gaelic heritage. In the past you would have a "first Foot" with your neighbor. You would walk into their house and be greeted with a kiss and a drink. Today they celebrate with fireworks and torchlight parades. Many dress in Viking Gear to highlight their Norse Ancestors (especially in the Northern Scottish Orkney Islands)
