Speed up your interwebs

So you're paying for high speed internet, eh. Some days it probably doesn't feel like that at all!

Doesn't matter if you're the most computer illiterate person in the world or a computer guru. I'm going to show you some simple things that'll get you surfing the web at speeds you pay for.

Firefox is one of the only browsers that is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including the ones that are no longer supported by the companies that make them (i.e. Windows XP/Vista and some versions of OSX that are below 10.6)


  • Open Firefox


  • Find the address bar at the top of the screen
  • Clear all contents that are on the address bar

On the address bar type in about:config
