Amir McMillan, 10, is a guard on the mens basketball team. McMillan holds an offer from the University of Troy, and Texas Tech, Ole Miss, St. Louis, Texas A&M and Nevada are recruiting him. "It's good that some schools are starting to notice me," McMillan said. "I'm younger than most of the guys that are getting offers, so I know that I have time to get many more."
Isaiah Manning, 11, is a forward on the mens basketball team. Manning holds offers from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, TCU, St. Louis, Oral Roberts, Tulsa, Jackson State, Texas-Arlington, Rice, Troy, and many more are recruiting him. "It's a blessing to have many schools to chose from because I know that some colleges are recognizing my work and improvement," Manning said. "I try not to think about it right now because my main focus is winning a state championship with my team."
Savannah Catalon, 11, is a guard on the womens basketball team. Catalon does not currently hold any scholarship offers, but she is being recruited by Texas Tech, North Texas, Denver, Louisiana tech, Arkansas Little-Rock, and Louisiana. "Having some potential options motivates me to keep pushing and reminds me to work harder," Catalon said. "I want a program that's fast paced and welcoming, and a school that has a good personal therapy program."
Sirviva Legions, 12, is a guard on the womens basketball team. Legions does not currently hold any scholarship offers, but she is being recruited by St. Bonaventure, Stony Brook, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Little-Rock, Alabama State, Texas State, Howard, JMU, Northeastern, LIU, and Hofstra. "It's good to have options so I can find the best fit for me," Legions said. "I want a fast paced team with a good coaching staff and team bonding, just a place where I'll be happy."
Quion Williams, 12, is a guard on the mens basketball team. Williams is committed to play for Oklahoma State, but held offers from Texas Tech, Houston, Arkansas, TCU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Tulsa, UTRGV, Missouri State, Troy, and Cleveland State. "I'm excited about being committed because Oklahoma State is a great program," Williams said. "Go Pokes!"
Dejuan Sims, 12, is a guard on the mens basketball team. Sims holds offers from Louisiana State University Alexandria and LaTourneau University and is being recruited by St Mary's, Randall University, Maine Maritime Academy, Calvin University, Crowley Ridge College, and CRC Arkansas. "It feels great to start getting recognition and scholarship offers," Sims said. "At the end my final decision is going to be going where I can make almost an immediate impact and where I'm celebrated not tolerated."
Wayne Wiggins, 12, is a guard on the mens basketball team. Wiggins holds an offer from Texas A&M Commerce and is being recruited by Texas State, North Texas, and Dallas Baptist. "It feels great to finally get the recognition I've been seeking," Wiggins said. "The environment and how far I am from my family will play a big part in my decision of where I further my education."
Jaxon Miles, 12, is a forward on the mens basketball team. Miles holds offers from Barclay College and New England and is being recruited by Cal Miramar University and Avila University. "Being recruited as a senior is a blessing because of all of the hard work that I have put in," Miles said. "I've been through a lot of adversity, so to be in the position I'm in right now is an incredible and humbling experience."
