Malala is my choice of the modern day prophet. She has been through hardship and joy, torment and encouragement. Malala is truly inspirational to many young and older generations of women and men as she stands up for what she believes in. In 2014 she was nominated and received the noble peace prize for her contribution to womens rights to attend school.

Malala's back story

In 2012 Malala and a few of her friends were travelling home on the bus from school and a masked armed gunman got on their bus and asked for Malala by name. She was shot with a single bullet that went though her head, neck and shoulder a few others were injured in the attack . She was transferred to Birmingham in the United Kingdom this hospital specifics in military injures. She was discharged from hospital in January of 2013 where her family joined her in the UK.

Nobel peace prize

In 2014 Malala won the noble peace prize despite being knocked down and told that it was a waste of time she still believed that the female education is just as valuable as males. Therefore even with hate being thrown her way she keep working towards her equality goal and finally her work and persistence payed off in 2014. With the money that was awarded to Malala with the Nobel peace prize she contributed all $500,000 to a secondary school for girls in Pakistan.

Living out her mission

Malala is only 19, she still has so much she wants to change, appreciate and do with her life she has achieve so much and has so many new plans for womens education. Malala will hopefully continue to contribute to womens education and help those who are too scared or don't have the opportunity to receive a decent or valuable education.

Zechariah's message is Love, Hope and Life. Malala Loves to help womens educational rights, Malala has Hope that her contribution to schooling for girls will make a change in the world, Malala wants to improve Life for the girls that are struggling for education.

Zachariah worked to believe and accomplish all that he could, this is very similar to the way Malala never gives up on her work with the Women and the younger girls.

The Man Among the Myrtle Trees

7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, the month of Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo.

8 During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses.

9 I asked, “What are these, my lord?”

The angel who was talking with me answered, “I will show you what they are.”

10 Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, “They are the ones the Lord has sent to go throughout the earth.”

11 And they reported to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees, “We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace.”

12 Then the angel of the Lord said, “Lord Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years?” 13 So the Lord spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me.

14 Then the angel who was speaking to me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they went too far with the punishment.’

16 “Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

17 “Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.’”
