Security - Protection from harm

External Security - Protection against aggressions from foreign parties.

WHAT ARE SOME THREATS TO A NATION'S ExternaL SECURITY?

  1. Actions that threaten the sovereignty of the nation
  2. Terrorism
  3. War
  4. Deprivation of essentials

HoW does the government manage these threats?

  1. Deterrance - Ministry of Defence (MINDEF)
  2. Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
