BE PREPARED:

  • Go to bed early
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get to class on time
  • Study your hardest

NO FEAR:

  • Try your best
  • You can always do better
  • Don't get anxious

JAIL THE DETAIL:

  • Circle and underline key information
  • Circling important numbers you need to solve a math problem
  • Underlining the question
  • Writing out quick summaries of what you've read
  • Eliminate extra info that is put there as an attempt to distract you

CHECK IT OUT:

  • Go back and check your answers after the test
  • Answer any questions you left blank

RE-FRAME YOUR THINKING:

  • Use positive self-talk to PUMP yourself up
  • Say " I can do it! " etc.

PLUG IT IN:

  • Remember to read through all of the answer choices before selecting one
  • You need to find thr right one that fits into the outlet of accuracy

PACE YOURSELF:

  • Do not rush through the test
  • Take your time
  • BUT be aware of the time you have left
  • Answer the questions you KNOW first and come back to the harder ones

STASH THE TRASH

  • Cross out those rediculous answers that you know are wrong
  • Narrow down your answers
