What we are learning

Math: The focus will be on: reviewing for part 2 of the math test and learning lattice multiplication.

Writing: Students will write their rough draft of "Two Frogs and the Well."

Reading: This week we will continue to read and discuss the book, "The Presidency" written by Christine Taylor Butler.

Fundations: In unit 7, I will introduce the y and suffix spelling rule to the students. The rule is, if a y follows a consonant in an open syllable at the end of a word, it needs to be changed to an i when adding any suffix.
