PRESENT PERFECT PASSIVE SOMETHING

Its something that has been done by someone at sometime up to now.

  • Active : They have cleaned the clinic.
  • Passive: The clinic has been cleaned by them. Active

WILL OR GOING TO?

"Going to" is when refer to a action that is going to be maked in the future but you are very sure that you are gonna make it for example: She's going to pay with a credit card

"Will" Refers to something that is possible but very few to do in the future for example: I’m sure it will rain tomorrow.

RELATIVE PRONOUNS

A relative pronoun is used to refer to nouns mentioned previously, whether they are people, places, things, animals, or ideas. Relative pronouns can be used to join two sentences. Example: The cyclist who won the race trained hard.

DEFINING AND NON-DEFINING RELATIVE CLAUSES

Defining relative clauses

We use to give essential information about someone or something. We usually use a relative pronoun to introduce a defining relative clause. Example: They’re the people who want to buy our house.

Non-defining relative clauses

We use to give extra information about the person or thing. It is not necessary information. We always use a relative pronoun to introduce. Example: Amaury, who I work with, is doing the London marathon this year.

COUNTABLE AND UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS

Countable nouns are individual people, animals, places, things, or ideas which can be counted. Examples:

  • How many candles are on that birthday cake?
  • You have several paintings to study in art appreciation class.

Uncountable nouns are not individual objects, so they cannot be counted. Examples:

  • There is no more water in the pond.
  • Please help yourself to some cheese.
