Be the Light Your generosity lights the way for our students

Grateful.

The 2019-2020 academic year was unlike any other our world has seen. It started with welcoming the largest first-year class in the history of our college, and ended in ways we could never have expected. As our campus community adapted quickly and nimbly to the ever-changing needs of our students, time and again our generous community of alumni and friends came forward in support of McDaniel students. THANK YOU for your generosity during the academic year.

You give students hope and connection. You show them that they are part of a larger community committed to caring for each other. They learn they are not alone as they navigate their journey on the Hill—and beyond.

During periods of uncertainty, it is clear that community is what sustains us. Now more than ever, we are incredibly grateful for you. As we look forward to a new academic year and continued uncertainty, it is comforting to know that our McDaniel family remains committed to the success of our students and will continue to shine a light on their paths here on the Hill.

Thank you for being part of our community of supporters.

Unprecedented.

2020 has brought challenges unlike any we have encountered before. Time and again, our alumni and friends asked, "How can I help?" You showed McDaniel students that although the road is unknown, they could always count on the McDaniel community to travel alongside them. Together, we established the Emergency Relief Fund and raised more than $100,000 for laptops, hotspots, and other critical needs. Together, we are outfitting classrooms with the technology needed to bring McDaniel to students who are unable to be on campus in the coming year. Together, we will ensure our students are safe, healthy, and able to continue on their path to success.

Together, we will light the way.

Words of Gratitude.

Don't just take it from us. Hear what our students have to say.

This sudden switch to online classes scared me because I did not have access to wi-fi at home. I was almost out of options before the school contacted me about your amazing donations! Thank you for helping me out. This was truly a blessing and, despite the odds, I can still keep up with my work. Once again, thank you so much! — Dania Duppins '21
