Blazer Middle School Bands Boone's Creek Elementary, Fall Branch Elementary, and Gray Elementary

Welcome to the Blazer Middle School Band Web Page! This is the band website for Gray Elementary School, Boone's Creek Elementary School, and Fall Branch School. If you are looking for information about band enrollment for your 6th grade student, click the link below entitled "Want to Join the Band?"

I have had some students ask great questions over the last few days about the concert, and I just wanted to answer those questions for you all as well.

There is no limit to the number of people that come to the concert. We will ask that all families sit together. We will have a system in place in order to space out families as much as possible during the event.

We also ask that in order to protect our young musicians that all attendees wear a mask at all times while in Daniel Boone High School.

If your student is currently quarantined, he/she may not attend the concert.

To assist with the purchase of music for our band programs, and repair and maintenance of school owned instruments, there will be an admission of $5 for adults, $3 for students, or $10 per family. Children under 3 and band students will get in for free.

We will be providing a livestream for family members or friends that are unable to attend the concert. The livestream will begin at 3:00, and the performances will actually commence at 3:30. Beginning band will perform first, followed by the advanced band, and the concert will end with the highschool band. The live stream will be shared on the DBHS Blazer Band Boosters Facebook group. This is a private group, so you will have to "join" the group in order to view the livestream. Here is how you can join: (1) Login to your Facebook account. (2) Search for the DBHS Blazer Band Boosters. (3) Click on "Join group" (4) Answer the question prompted in order to join. (5) One of our page administrators will add you to the page. It is recommended that you join the group BEFORE Sunday so that our administrators have ample time to approve new members to the group before the start of the concert.

I am so excited for Sunday, and I hope that your students are feeling excited as well! I cannot wait for you all to be able to hear how much your children have grown throughout the past year as musicians! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. You can email me at hartt@wcde.org

This scene, one of many in the windows of Bergdorf Goodman, shows a woman conducting madness of music around her in what seems to be an all-too-fitting metaphor to close out twenty seventeen." • Marius Masalar - "untitled image"
