ANZAC DAY YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANZAC day is a day of remembering for all the people that died in the ANZAC war so we could be free. The Anzac's were Australian and New Zealand solders that were sent to Gallipoli in Turkey to fight but they were sent to the wrong place and the place that they were sent to was defended with more solders and guns.

The solders built their own trench just up from the beach. They mostly built the trenches at night when their was less gun fire. living in the trenches was very hard everyone was starving and the food was bad. Sometimes the enemy and allied trenches were so close the could hear each other speaking

ANZAC day took place on the 25th of April 1915. we have dawn parades early in the morning because that is the time when the ANZAC'S reached their destination with is now known
