Signing up for Diigo
- Diigo is a social book marking tool that can used as a collaborative networking tool for teachers and students.
- Once you are on you can find the tab labeled Groups.
- The next page will allow you to create a group.
- Fill in the required areas. Make sure to use a unique name for your group name or it will tell you that the name has already been used. World History would not work if I submit this.
- Make sure that you mark how to join and who can invite accordingly. It should not be just one teacher that has all control.
- Now that your group is created all you need to do is invite who ou want to be part of the group.
- You can make it a teachers resources group if you have multiple teachers teaching the same subject.
- You can create a group for each of your classes if you use a lot of primary sources or need your students to annotate or collaborate.
- Diigo is a great tool for a teacher to have in the educational tool box.
