Polymer Clay Dragon

For this dragon I used a Swarovski 28mm pendant and purple clay as well as a little gold powder
Start by making a snake with clay, pressing in the middle
Here's the wanted shape, round for the head, a little thick for the body and thin for the tail
Forming the head
Use a ball tool for the eyes
the needle for the nostrils
2 tiny balls of clay for the eyes
Adding a little texture
very thin snakes of clay around the eyes
Each ear is made with 3 little snakes of clay
Choose your texturing tool - I used the handle of the upper one
The tail was too big :)
For the legs: Make 2 balls of clay, a small one and a little bigger one
make a nake with the small one, bend it a bit and press the end to make the paw
With the bigger ball make a bended snake
press the end and do as for the small leg; then put on body
For the wings, make a thin sheet of clay, of whatever color you like, translucent or not. I chose the same color
Here it is :)
It was made exactly the same way, but with black clay, copper and gold powders and is about twice the side of the purple one. Hope it helps xox
