Daniel Boone Peter

I learned that he discovered the Cumberland Gap in 1769. He was born October 22, 1734, in the colony of Pennsylvania. He died in Missouri, September 26, 1820.
He was best known for settling and exploring Kentucky. Daniel could also chop wood at the age of 5! Wow!
One thing I will remember will be his love for the outdoors.
He moved to the west because he heard from a man named John Findley about a place called Kentucky.
