Gordon Korman

Fiction

Gordon Korman is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of more than 75 books for kids and young adults. His writing career began at the age of twelve when his seventh-grade English assignment became his first novel, which was then published while he was a freshman in high school.

Now, later on in life, he is a full-time writer, with more than 17 million copies of his novels in print. His books have been translated into 14 languages.

The time this was taken was during 1912 - 1915 on the Titanic sailing on the sea.

The Titanic had set sail on Friday, April 12,1912 when suddenly a threat broke loose on the ship. A killer had been released and there were only four kids who know about the murder. The kids won't say anything to adults because they think they would get killed aso.

In this book there is a killer on the loose and there are only four kids who know about the incident. None of the kids want to tell anyone about the killing because they thought they might get killed also. The conflict is resolved as the titanic hits an iceberg and there isn't many places to go after that.

"You'll be caught!" Sophie breathed. "You'll hang!" His smile was cruel. "I don't think so. You're sucha little thing" -- all at once she felt her feet leave the deck as he lifted her up and over the rail -- "and the ocean is so large." This really helps to the book, because if any of them kids would have mentioned anything they would end up just like Sophie.

A hand grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. He knew a moment of panic. How will i flee in this huge crowd? This is the part in the book where the killer had attempted the kill the first time.
