The Three Branches of Government

The federal government is like an umbrella over our country
The federal government is in charge of making sure our troops are paid and are deployed properly, and where we need them.
State government is in charge of issuing drivers licenses
Local government is in charge of repairing streets.
The legislative branch makes laws.
The executive branch is in charge of signing bills into law.
The judicial branch decides if laws are ethical.
The state legislature passed a bill to shrink the grand staircase.
