From canyons to caves and parks to museums, Arizona is one of the best states to venture to and learn more about. Arizona is known as the Grand Canyon state and has many attractions for tourists to enjoy. Also, being one of the highest populated, but also hottest states, Arizona has a wide variety of college campuses for many students and have different atmospheres and education quality but all meet the needs of students goals. The most popular attraction in the beautiful state of Arizona is, of course, the Grand Canyon. It was formed by the Colorado river over the period of 3-6 million years. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and up to 18 miles wide and 1 mile deep. About 5 million people visit this National Park every year.
