Hi. I'm Kyle Malinda-White.

I'm excited about possibilities.

As a product enthusiast, I am obsessed with products and experiences that matter to users today. Through my communications and research background, I am able to appreciate the power of effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders. I use this in the next step of my career: to translate today's user pains and convert that into effective products that bring joy and delight.

I co-founded and managed product and business development for Popspoken, a Singapore culture news website to help over 20,000 millennials and young professionals understand their local community with exclusive reports and interviews with up-and-coming cultural changemakers.

To further my knowledge of entrepreneurship and product management, I joined the inaugural batch of Founders' Institute in Taipei, a global accelerator from Silicon Valley.

As part of the accelerator, I co-founded Prout, an LGBTQ+ meetup and support platform which went on to garner S$16,000 in seed funding through a crowdfunding round backed by over 150 backers.

I also spent a year as a product management intern for Rakuten Asia to launch Viki Learn, an edutech web app to teach Korean to users through native speech, interactive videos and vocabulary quizzes. It went on to hit the first month growth KPI within the first three days of launch due to a product marketing strategy which I planned and executed.

I've also been fortunate to be part of several research projects, including a paper around natural language generation, and a proposal to recommend specific NLG architectures for the emerging field of automated journalism.
