Victoria Era Fashion -Melanie Gutierrez

In the early Victorian era fashion was big. Fashion then is nothing similar to how it is now. Women would attend afternoon tea dressed in a gown. If that doesn't tell you a lot I don't know what does.
Fashion evolved over time. New types of dresses, skirts, and shoes often came out. Many of the accessories needed were often silk parasols, hats, and elaborate hairdos.
The amount of manners an etiquacy women and man had to have were often high. Women had to act with high class in order for them to be confsidered a lady. Men also looked for this in a women. The kind of manners a woman had would affect the level of man she would marry.
