Baseball is fun for anyone. Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players each, who take turns batting and fielding. The batting team attempts to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher with a bat swung by the batter, then running counter-clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third, and home plate. A run is scored when a player advances around the bases and returns to home plate.
Baseball has an estimated 464 minor injuries per year, while football has almost 4x more injuries at 1762 per year. Also, there are more baseball games per season than football. In a regular season of football, there are 16 games, but in baseball there are 162 games in the regular season. That is almost saying that there is a 40x chance there will be a football injury than a baseball injury.
Baseball can be played at any age. There are different leagues because it would not be fair or fun if there was a 2nd grader in a high school league. This is why there are different leagues for different skill levels and ages. No matter how old or young you are, you can always play the original sport of the bat and the ball.
