Trump's Final Speech saying goodbye to his presidency

Leading up to the inauguration ceremony, Trump delivered his final speech as president, bidding his followers farewell in a brief address. Surrounded by his family and supporters, he thanked them for all their efforts and support, encouraging them to look back on what they have accomplished in the last four years.

“It’s been something very special. We’ve accomplished a lot, and our first lady has been a woman of great grace, beauty, and dignity, who’s been so popular with the people,” Trump said, bringing his wife Melania Trump up to the podium, who then offered a few words to the American people.

Trump then praised his presidency, telling his supporters that “what we have done has been amazing by any standard.”

He highlighted his accomplishments over the past four years, describing how he and his administration “rebuilt” the United States military and created a new force called the Space Force.

“That in itself would be a major achievement for a regular administration, but we were not a regular administration,” Trump said, upon mentioning his creation of the Space Force.

He continued naming his significant achievements as president, placing great emphasis on all he had done for the military, claiming that they were “very badly treated” before he came along.

Midway through his speech, he began describing the state of the economy and pandemic, saying, “We have the greatest country in the world, the greatest economy in the world, as bad as the pandemic was. We were hit so hard like the entire world was. Places that thought they got away with it didn’t get away with it, they’re suffering right now, but we did something that is really considered a medical miracle, and that was the vaccine,” Trump said.

During his speech, he wished the next administration the best of luck but failed to directly mention President Biden and Vice President Harris, promising his supporters that he “will be back in some form.”

He ultimately finished his speech by telling the American public, “I wish you a good life, and we will see you soon,” upon which he stepped down from the podium for the last time as the 45th president of the United States.
