what is it?

Phishing is when an email is sent to you asking for your password to an account, which is not genuine and is used to try and gain personal information

above is an example of phishing.see if you can spot the differences from a genuine email!

Thousands of Twitter users Scammed!

On January 3rd 2009 many users of Twitter were tricked into giving out their passwords when many received an email with and link that sent them to a fake twitter website that looked very real and any information they put on that could be used by the attacker, twitter then asked the affected users to change their passwords, in promise of a blue tick!
