  • A powerful Product Search and Comparison Engine lets you quickly get to the results you're looking for and show them head-to-head between competing products
  • "Best of" Guides give you guidance on the best product for your specific needs
  • Reference Information on aspects of image quality and how it is measured

The DxOMark Score gets you started quickly

Want to know more about the image quality of a camera, phone or lens you’re considering?, and in a hurry? Our DxOMark Score is the single best indicator of a product's image quality. For mobile devices, it reflects their combined photo and video performance. For cameras and lenses their still image quality is measured.

Want to personalize your search? DxOMark's Category Sub-scores match up with your style of photography to help you choose a new camera, phone, or lens:

You don't have to rely just on an overall DxOMark score. For every device tested DxOMark also provides a breakdown of the overall score into Category Sub-scores that reflect specific imaging functions. You can use the chart below to see which sub-scores are most important to the types of photography you do.

"Best of" Guides [DO WE WANT TO CALL THIS OUT, AND IF SO IS THERE A GOOD NAME FOR THE COLLECTION OF THEM?]

If you are looking for the best lens to use with your camera for a specific purpose, one of DxOMark's "Best Of" Guides is ideal. We've done the research for you, and picked out the best options for your application.

Image Quality Reviews

Along with the test results for each camera, lens, and smartphone we evaluate on DxOMark, we provide a review that summarizes its strengths, weaknesses, and salient specs and features. Our reviews can help you put test results into context, and determine whether a product meets your specific needs.

Powerful Product Search and Comparison Engine

If you aren't sure exactly what product you are looking for, the DxOMark Search Engine lets you specify a brand or brands, and optionally the product's introduction date, to start your search. Once you get started the interface expands to let you further refine by price range, resolution, type, and for cameras, the sensor format.

Once you've found one or more Tested products you want to Compare simply select the "add to compare" option while you have the product's page displayed. As soon as you've added at least one product to the comparison, a "View Comparison" option will appear -- allowing you to see the products you've selected side by side. You can only see three products at once, but you can use "Manage Comparison" to pick and choose three products at a time out of all those about which you're interested.
