Hi! My name is Amy Spradlin. I have been at Two Rivers Community School since 2015 and can’t imagine being anywhere else. My official role is Social and Emotional Coordinator, but you’ll see that I wear many hats throughout the year. Teaching the whole child has always been my passion even when I was a regular classroom teacher. That's why I received extensive training in mindfulness, restorative justice, and self regulation. When humans feel valued, have a sense of belonging, can bring themselves to a place of peace and calm as well as value others who are different then themselves, success and achievement are limitless. If I’m not at school, you’ll find me listening to live music, taking hikes, or swimming in the hot springs. My husband is a farrier (horseshoer) in the valley, and you’ll find him attending many of our school events. He loves TRCS as much as I do! Two Rivers is a one of a kind place that feels like home to many families, students and staff. We hope you feel that way too.
