Biographical Sketch

Raphael lived in Urbino,Italy from April 6,1483 to April 6, 1502. Raphael was rich and very famous and lived a grand life. He fell severely ill on his 37th birthday and died. One of his best art work is the 'Stanze di Raffaello'

Importance to Society

Raphael changed the thoughts of people for art. His art was humanistic and conveyed character clarity and expression. He had expressive paintings which were very detailed. Raphael used different techniques to paint which weren't used widely in the art world
