Anubis was the god of the underworld and dead. He helped with mummifications and embalming. He had a human body and jackal head.
People would wear masks during mummification ceremonies to show their love to Anubis.
Osiris was Anubis's father.
Anubis's mother was Nepthys.
Anubis was the most important god of the dead in the Old Kingdom and he could send souls to the underworld.
Anubis had many symbols, this is the imiut fetus.
