The secret Annex

The frank family the van pel family and Dr. feffer all stayed in the secret annex. The secret annex was very small and didn't have enough space for all of them but, they made it work. The secret annex was hidden by a bookcase covering the door.

Propaganda is used to change people view on wars, politics, and many other things. There are many different types of propaganda. Propaganda can even change people behavior. One type of propaganda is Demonization, demonization is when a enemy is portrayed as evil, menacing, murderous, etc. Patriotic appeals is another type of propaganda it uses symbols and language to appeal to the nations pride. Visual symbols is another type of propaganda it uses symbols to promote war efforts.

Fritz Pheffer was a Jewish man who was studying to become a dentist. His family and him remained religious. In 1926 he marries Vera Bythiner. They a son in 1927. They get divorced 6 years later. He keeps custody of his son. He then meets another woman 2 years later but can't get married because of the Nuremberg laws. They immigrated to the Netherlands and they still couldn't get married.

Peter was born on November 8 1926 near the Dutch border. He is a only child. He was one of the three children to hide in the secret annex. Peter was sent aushwitz and then relocated mathuansen. He died from illnesses when he was 18.

Otto frank was Anne's father. He was Anne's favorite person in the annex. Otto frank published Anne's diary. He took out some parts that would criticize his wife. He was the only survivor of the Frank family.

Anne frank is the girl who wrote the diary. She wrote her diary during her time in the secret annex. She was born on June 12 1929. Her diary is the second most bought book in the world besides the Bible. Anne frank didn't like her mom and her dad took that out of her diary. The frank family was caught and Anne was sent to Bergen Belsen were she died from typhus.

Act 1 summary

Anne and her family go into hiding in the secret annex. Anne meets Peter and immediately dosent like him. Peter brings his cat Mouchi even though he wasn't allowed to. Mr dussel joined the 2 familys in the secret annex. Mr van pel is worried they won't have enough food.Mr dussel and Anne get in a fight about her desk. There is a thief in there house and Peter falls and the thief hears him and leaves.
