SRC Mufti Day – Friday 25th May 2018 – Backpacks for School Children in East Timor
There are children in East Timor who are unable to attend school purely because their family cannot afford the necessary backpack! The SRC would like to give children in East Timor the opportunity of attending school by providing backpacks for them to use. Instead of a gold coin donation, we are asking students to attend in mufti and donate one backpack per family. Hopefully most families will have an old pack back in good condition they can spare, if you would prefer to buy a new backpack that will also be very welcome!
