Üner Tan Syndrome Bella varano

This genetic disorder was named by a Turkish biologist named Üner Tan.
Üner Tan Syndrome is a disorder in which humans are born walking on all fours. Side affects can include primitive speech and severe mental retardation.
Mostly seen in small Turkish villages, this rare disease effects more males than females.

There is no cure but forced treatment may help. One girl tried putting rocks on her feet, causing her to walk upright but it led her to develop Ataxia, a lack of muscle coordination.

Üner Tan Syndrome is not fatal, the life expectancy is around 79 years. If parents shared the same blood it was more likely for the child to become affected but it can not be predicted.
