Boys' soccer defeats Greenwich

Boys' varsity soccer defeats Greenwich by 1-0 game at Loeffler Field on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Goalies Reed Caney '21 and Enzo Valadares '21 warm up before the game begins.
Reed Caney '21 saves a penalty kick with only three minutes into the game bringing tension to the field and the players.
The score at half time was 0-0, but with a few close goals by Haydn Siroka '21, Evan Birns '20 and Sam Liles '20
With only eight minutes left of the game Patricio Perez-Alorza '20 crossed in a ball followed by Emerson Anavari's '20 header and finished by Brendan Lynch '20 making the score 1-0.
Surya Balaji '20 takes a penalty for the Wreckers looking to expand the score 2-0 with only four minutes left. The Greenwich goalie saved the kick.
Fans run down to the field to congratulate the team and celebrate the victory against Greenwich.
The teams' next home game will be against Ludlowe on Saturday Oct. 5. at 2pm home game.
