Feed the Soul is a sustainably focused collective with offerings in installation art and yoga instruction. Our mission to build and cultivate gathering spaces for nourishment, self-reflection, and connection with one another.
We are comprised of: Kyle Thornton (lead builder & musician) and Sara Liberatore (Designer & Yoga Instructor). Combined we have 4 years of teaching experience and 15 years of building experience. We would love to craft a unique experience for your event or studio.
Our sculptures are inspired by the yogic "drishti" or focal point. We build two types of structures - pyramids and wooden wall murals. Our primary materials are ethically sourced and upcycled wood scrap as well as natural, hand-dyed stains.
Our pyramids are intended to be both gathering spaces for the sole individual or for lots of friends (new and old). These spaces are quiet nooks to tuck away and find pause. They invite your gaze to center in and soften while also filtering natural light during the day and providing a sheltered space at night. Below are events that our past sculptures have been featured in:
Our yoga classes are very much focused on the same principals as our structures - we aim to cultivate a spirit of togetherness and reconnection with both ourselves and all of those around us. Our styles teaching styles are Vinyasa (Ashtanga) and Yin. We believe in slow, functional asana that is accessible for all bodies. We teach with a strong background in anatomy and deep grounding in philosophical spirit, but most importantly - we find laughter to be the greatest medicine. Our classes are good fun and are often named with puns (such as our signature class - Yin & Juice). We enjoy crafting unique classes that have homey healing vibes to some good jams.Sara is a 200RYT with additional trainings in Restorative Yoga and Kyle provides original down-tempo beats during the class. We have taught together in both studio and festival settings and are comfortable with both small and large groups. Some of the past festival classes we have taught:
