Anatomy Of A Website By Sheryl Guiao

Start with the CONTAINER BLOCK
Give your website an identity -- LOGO
The main part of your web site design
Don't forget the white space/negative space

Header: In the header, this is where you can place the LOGO here or the NAVIGATION

Footer: It's not always utilized in design but it's in every page

Main Content Box: This is where you place the most information for the user to see.

Side Bar: You can place your navigation here or other tid bits of information that you might want to share for the user. It is not required on every page throughout the website like the other boxes.

White Space/Negative Space: helps the user not feel overwhelmed, white space gives a break from all the items placed on the webpage. It's also called negative space.
