#OWNMYCAREER David Gladman

After High School I would like to run for an FFA State office and hopefully a National office the year after to teach and inspire FFA members all over the nation.

After attending college at Oregon Institute of Technology and majoring in Mechanical Engineering I am planning on working at Diode Laser Concepts in the Rogue Valley.
However I am not 100% sure that I want to be a Mechanical Engineer. My other career choice is to teach agriculture to high school students and be a FFA advisor in my own FFA program.
If I choose to become a Ag teacher I would like to dual enroll at Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University with a major in Ag Education and a minor in Ag Science. I would also like to be on the collegiate Livestock Judging Team at LBCC
After this I would like to transfer to Chico State and judge livestock and finish my last 2 years of college.

After all of my higher education I would like to move back to Southern Oregon or stay in California and either begin teaching or working at a manufacturing business as a Mechanical Engineer. I hope to continue helping my family take care of our 50 mother cattle and keep producing high quality livestock for the show industry.
