Some Cranes species fly long distances to breed in the cold and eat in warm areas and they fly in a v formation. most cranes breed for life their eggs are very colorful like white with light blue [ it depends on the species] most chicks are brown. Cranes are omnivores they like small fish, bugs, small reptiles, berries, and tuber they migrate seasonally.
