I chose "There was an Old Woman" as my illustrated story. For this assignment, I could only choose three colors, so I chose Concrete, Turquoise, and Wet Asphalt. I was also allowed to use white, but no black. To maintain the simplistic colors, I chose simplistic designs and replaced colors I would have used with the ones I had available. I replaced black with wet asphalt and used turquoise for all clothing and eye color. I used Concrete as a complimentary color to the other two. I used several of the harder characters as body shapes or complex details. For example, the symbol for old is the old woman's body.
