Dirt Therapy Indigenous tree and plant nursery

Dirt Therapy is a retail and wholesale supplier of indigenous plants and trees.

The nursery is located in the picturesque town of Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route of South Africa.

At Dirt Therapy, we propagate and grow small, medium and large indigenous and ornamental trees and shrubs, which we supply to both the general public and to the commercial garden and landscaping industry.

Our trees and plants are perfectly suited for the Garden Route and Western Cape climate and environmental conditions.

Currently we stock over seventy species as well as a large selection of trees.

In addition to the nursery, the Dirt Therapy shop sells a unique selection of garden accessories, home décor and gifts.

Please join us for delicious snacks and coffee out on the verandah overlooking the valley and breathtaking views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains.

About our nursery

The nursery was established in December 2014 by Katherine Barlow and is situated on a picturesque smallholding surrounded by the beautiful valleys and mountains that enfold the popular coastal town.

Katherine has long had a passion for trees, plants and the outdoors, as well as a love for local and beautifully crafted homeware and gifts.

The Dirt Therapy nursery and shop is the bringing together of these passions. We offer a unique selection of indigenous plants together with an exquisite range of home and garden décor within a charming country setting for all to enjoy.

“Our bespoke nursery is small, but the plants are well chosen and the collection of gifts, books and accessories delightful. If you’re after an unusual plant, large tree or a delicious cup of coffee, Dirt Therapy is your perfect destination.”

We look forward to welcoming you.
