THE HOT TAKES
Hell yeah, withdrawing consent! This is the kind of stuff that gets me fired up: "I'm withholding my treasure from you; To prevent the atrocities we know you will do." It's bold and unapologetic, which is something I sometimes struggle to be myself. I've done a lot of customer service in my life, and it teaches you to be diplomatic, see it from the other person's point of view, etc. But man, with the state? We're talking about people who range from a well-intentioned part of a bad system to the absolute depths of evil. I think we can stand a little boldness in confronting them.
Anyone else think these guys sound a little like old Metallica? Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with the tactic they are promoting. It reminds me of Randolph Silliman Bourne’s famous words “War is the health of The State.” Well, the American State is as healthy as ever. Starving The State of money and manpower is the best way to fight such a huge monstrosity.
How many outright anti-Fed songs do you know? Depending on how long you've been following us on here, probably a few. But that's a biased sample because we really dislike it round these parts. Something about an institution designed to make perpetual war possible, just seems to get under our collars. For a lot of libertarians that care about fiscal policy, our economy is a ticking time-bomb waiting to take the entire global economy down. For too long we've been robbed and allowed our value to be inflated away. All in my name? No way. Starve the state, let them default and not in my name.
