COVID-related information: (a) Zipcar has enhanced cleaning protocols for all car stocked on campus; and (b) The CBORD ID Card Mobile App allows for quick access to a student's Zipcar account and many other important services, please download before arriving on campus.
Zipcar is a self-service, on-demand car sharing program on campus. To use a Zipcar, register online as a member, get a Zipcard, reserve a car online/phone, use your Zipcard to enter the car, and drive away (cars are in multiple locations on campus). Members receive:
- Access to Zipcars 24/7
- Discounted hourly rates for faculty, staff and students age 18 and older. Rates start at just $7.50/hour or $69/day*
- 180 miles included per day ($0.45 per mile after that)
- Gas, insurance and maintenance are included for FREE
- Join for only $25 for your first year.
