49ers Cook-off: Tailgate in the Trenches Presented by NRG

Join TEAM OFFENSE or TEAM DEFENSE for a virtual cooking challenge like no other! You’ll follow along with Michelin-Star-Trained Chefs from The French Laundry, Chefs Jason McKinney and Tyler Vorce with Truffle Shuffle, to prepare a gourmet meal of Truffle Mac & Cheese in a virtual room with current 49ers players* and their families in a cooking showdown! Then you’ll get to enjoy your meal while participating in a Q&A with the players and have an opportunity to ask questions and vote on the player with the best meal preparation to determine the winner of the 49ers Foundation’s Cook-off: Tailgate in the Trenches presented by NRG! *Players to be announced

49ers EDU and CFP Foundation Come Together to Celebrate Bay Area Teachers for 'The Big Day'

To honor and celebrate their incredible work, 49ers EDU and The College Football Playoff Foundation (CFP) teamed up to honor three deserving Bay Area educators. On Monday, September 14th teachers across the country were surprised with $1,000 Donor Choose grants as a part of The Big Day. Each teacher was nominated by a fellow educator who saw them go above and beyond this past year for their students and community. As schools across the Bay Area closed for in-person learning, these three teachers have gone above and beyond in finding ways to keep their students engaged and learning throughout COVID-19.

The three recipients were: Patti Jenkins (Scott Lane Elementary), Peter Wang (San Francisco International High School), and Shaylah Ellis (Skyline High School).

49ers PREP Presented by U.S. Bank launches Spanish-Language Flag Football Virtual Training Camp

49ers PREP Presented by U.S. Bank announced a collaboration with NFL Mexico that will bring its Virtual Flag Football Training Camp Presented by Mountain Mike's Pizza to kids across the U.S. and Mexico. 49ers PREP flag football content will be available in Spanish and provides youth athletes the opportunity to learn and sharpen their flag football skills and knowledge. The English version launched over the summer. "Representing football throughout the Bay Area, we feel a responsibility to make content accessible to youth of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities," said Jared Muela, 49ers PREP Director.

49ers Host Crucial Catch Presented by Dignity Health Virtual Event

49ers players take Shelby and Cheri on a virtual tour of Levi's® Stadium

As part of the 49ers annual cancer awareness efforts, the team partnered with the American Cancer Society for a unique and virtual behind-the-scenes experience with 49ers players and breast cancer warrior and longtime Faithful Shelby, and her Dignity Health Oncology Nurse Navigator Cheri.

In Partnership with U.S. Bank, 49ers Surprise Single Mothers Affected by COVID-19 with Rent Coverage

The 49ers and U.S. Bank teamed up to host a virtual financial wellness session led by Operation HOPE for nine single mothers part of nonprofit WANDA Silicon Valley. The mothers were also surprised with a visit from 49ers players who revealed that U.S. Bank would cover the next three months' rent.
