High Mowing School
Located on a beautiful hilltop in Wilton, New Hampshire, High Mowing School provides preschool-12th grade Waldorf education for students across New Hampshire and around the world. Founded in 1942, High Mowing is a boarding and day high school. In 1972, Pine Hill was formed to serve students preschool through 8th grade. The two sister schools merged in 2017 and together occupy roughly 300 contiguous acres of hilltop forest and farmland.
What is Waldorf Education?
Waldorf Education brings age-appropriate content and methods to each stage of a child's development. The Waldorf approach recognizes human beings as three-fold in nature—consisting of a mind, spirit, and body—and educates that entire being in preparation for a life of meaning and purpose.
