Peer Ambassadors Training Day 2017

Poway Unified School District's Peer Ambassador program consists of exceptional high school seniors committed to spreading school spirit and pride in the community while promoting academic achievement and character to younger students in the District. The ambassadors visit participating PUSD elementary schools with three primary messages: First, living a life of strong character will help one achieve happiness and success. Second, committing oneself to academics is key to becoming a successful student. And, finally, maintaining a clean, drug and alcohol-free lifestyle will help one achieve his/her dreams.

On August 10, 2017, peer ambassadors from five PUSD high schools: Del Norte, Mt. Carmel, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and Westview, all gathered for a day of training and team building. All photos were taken by Stacey Canfield, President of Visual Photography and used with her permission.
