William Michael Quintana was born in Austin, TX before moving to New York City at the age of two, where he was raised by his single mother in the concrete jungle of the Bronx. From the Boogie Down, he drew inspiration from a rich landscape of sonic experiences. He first gained his appreciation for music-making from his grandfather—legendary Latin composer/musician Mike Guagenti - who taught him the fundamentals of rhythm, tune, and melody. In his childhood home in Pelham Bay William Michael learned to appreciate an electronic mix of musical artistry including Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Britney Spears, Cold Play, Metallica, and Elton John. But Later moving to Throggs Neck Projects as a teen, it was the mean streets of New York that introduced him to the works of Hip-Hop legends such as Nas, Jadakiss, Big Pun, The Notorious B.I.G, DMX, Eminem, and Method Man. Unable to afford a spot on his local traveling baseball teams with his friends, he turned to gaming as an outlet for staying out of the streets, eventually reaching semi-pro status In both major titles including ''Call Of Duty''/ ''Gears Of War''. He credits these experiences with teaching him the discipline and leadership skills that would later mold him into the dynamic MC he would eventually become. Later graduating high school he took an interest in rap and discovered he had a penchant for flow, delivery, and storytelling, and so he began rhyming under the stage name ‘Last Will’. In assessing the content of his mainstream contemporaries, Will was put off by the prevailing trend towards songs that obsessed over violence, sex, and materialism. He became driven by a desire to produce works that paid homage to the essence of Hip-Hop while maintaining the sonic character of commercially viable music. After trying to jump start his music career in 2015, Will was set back after being fired from Nike. Shortly after getting hired as a delivery driver he Was Sidelined in his car by a U.S.P.S mail truck. Later that year, with the passing of his grandfather, Will overcame all challenges he was faced with, turning it into his fuel for the road ahead. Gaining a modest following he returned with a fury in the summer of 2016 with the release of the “Wave of Emotion” EP with his partner/artist ''Killa Kev" whom he originally met in Nike (co-worker) back in 2013. Aside from debuting ''Wave Of Emotion'', his ingenious “Backseat Freestyles” YouTube series directed/produced by his younger brother Luis Acosta (Luiville_Slaughter), and having put out 3 official music videos directed by Dillion Eckes (DxFilms). He now works Along Side "The Producer" Tokaro Serrano Gonzalez (Mizter Tokka) who will be mentoring him to the gates of success. ''Last Will’s'' independent grind is unstoppable, and his ambition is certain to make this MC-on-the-rise a name to watch out for in the near future. #KeepItASecret👁
