Dinosaurs By Jackson Bowler

Dinosaurs are extinct. That means that no kind of there species is around. They lived millions of years ago on earth. There were all different kinds of dinosaurs.

This is a carnivore. It's teeth are sharp because it eats meat.

An herbivore eats plants. They have flat teeth because they need to grind the plants.

These are dinosaur bones. They are called fossils because they are the remaining piece of something that lived long ago. Scientists learn about dinosaurs by studying different fossils.

Most scientists think that a meteor hit earth and it dusted out all the sunlight and then the plants died. The herbivores couldn't eat because they only ate plants. That made the carnivores, or meat eaters die too because they couldn't eat their prey.
