Experience

At the age of 19, I became the youngest Photo Editor in the history of North Dakota State University’s student lead newspaper, The Spectrum. As the acting Photo Editor my responsibilities and duties consisted of managing and fulfilling all photographic content from Sports, Entertainment, and News. I organized and managed a small staff of photographers. I took 3rd place in Sports Photography in the Midwest Division-One newspaper conference, Best of the Midwest.

While working as a salesman, I was responsible for selling and processing film and print orders as well as selling photography equipment and accessories. The position required customer service skills, attention to detail, and product knowledge. While working at Bob’s Photo, I acquired the knowledge of large format printing, commercial photography printers.

As a Product Specialist for RDO Equipment Co. (the world’s largest John Deere Dealership) I worked exclusively with Core Accounts (the largest agricultural accounts in the United States). While working for Core Accounts I acted as a support role developing innovative solutions for processes and procedures. Some of my achievements included, assisting with the development of a smartphone app, being the point person in an acquisition of two Montana dealerships, and lastly designed the exhibition booth and showcased my photography/videography for the world’s largest agricultural exhibition, Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany. Agritechnica had a record attendance this year of 450,000 visitors. My photography and videography was used as the content for this show. Additionally, I was the primary photography vendor for RDO’s national agricultural calendar and was awarded two of the cover photographs.
