EEEKKKKKK!!! Congratulations Mamma Bear ....
A Baby Bump session is available as an add onto your Family Newborn Session. You have the choice of In Studio or On Location (weather permitting) for your bump session.
What Do I Wear?!?!
- Form fitting clothes will accentuate your belly, so don’t be afraid to wear them. {Stretchy fabrics that conform to your belly are a great options}
- Sticking to solids and simple prints avoids the attention going to your clothing instead of you and your beautiful belly.
- Choose something that is reflective of your personality, timeless and will show up well in photographs.
- Under garments Matter!!! Boy briefs work well under a maternity gown / dress. A proper fitting bra is essential as it doesn't allow for "spillage" and unwanted lines showing. {The camera picks up EVERYTHING we don't see}
- Feel free to bring a few different outfits to use throughout your session.
- Pamper yourself!! Set an appointment to get your hair done! Who doesn't love walking out of the salon feeling like a million bucks!
- Above all else - be comfortable, it will show on camera!
Please note: At this time I do not provide maternity gowns in the studio.
Elegant glamorous baby bump photos are not for everyone. I leave this option open to my mamma's if they want to bring a gown to their session or not.
" i will hold you in my HEART until i can hold you in my ARMS "
On Location
On Location Bump Sessions are weather permitting. If the weather is -10 or colder we will do either in studio or re-book {if time permits}
Location Options
- Carburn Park - a little gem found in the community of Riverbend
- Bow Valley Ranch Fish Creek Park - this is by the restaurant. A very popular place for photographers so it can get a bit busy.
- Marshall Springs Fish Creek Provincial Park
- The Shawnessy Barn - there is a beautiful field with lots of trees and large rocks and paths, and of course a red barn to take advantage of for a unique backdrop.
Involve the family
HAVE FUN!
Enjoy yourself and the story you are capturing. You are much more likely to get that perfect moment when you allow your photographer to worry about the session workflow.
