The Ozark Mountains by Olivia Cupo

The Ozark Mountains can be found in between Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. They where discovered in 1541 by Hernando DeSoto. Ever since then people have come to visit the mountains. You can zip line, hike, look at the waterfalls, horseback ride and fish! The Ozarks tallest point is the Boston Mountains, which are over 2,000 ft. tall! Ozark is based off of the word "Aux Arc," a trading post the French in the Ozarks. You can find many different species such as, elk, deer, bears and turkeys. The Ozark mountains are beautiful in fall, when the leaves all turn greens, oranges, yellows and reds.

This video makes me think that Billy hunted in a place like this with his dogs and where he would have lived.
